Haunting
This is said to be the most common
type of haunting. A residual haunting is a haunting that cycles itself over and
over again repeating itself in a loop. Often times, this haunting plays itself
out though it were following some type of schedule.
More times than not, this
haunting will be of a tragic death.
Intelligent Haunting
In an intelligent haunting the
ghost/spirit is aware of its surroundings. Many times in this type of haunting
the ghost/spirit will communicate with the living and interact with its surroundings.
Some indicators of an intelligent
haunting are slamming doors, footsteps, items being moved, lights turning on and off, hearing voices ect. Also in an intelligent
haunting a ghost/spirit will attempt to manifest itself so to been seen by the living.
Demonic Haunt
A demonic haunt is one of the
least common and least documented types of haunting.
It is thought that a demon has
never had a human form nor is a demon from this world. A demon has extraordinary
strength and has been said to throw people through the air and attack.
A demon can take on any type of
shape and it is thought that the demons reason for existence is to breakdown a person emotionally so as that they can possess
the person.
This type of haunting can be identified
by horrible odors, the sounds of growling throughout the area being haunted and the affected people reporting being struck,
pushed, scratched or subjected to some type of physical contact.
Poltergeist Haunting
The dictionaries definition of
a poltergeist is a ghost or spirit supposed to manifest its presence by noises, knockings, etc. Therefore this can be one of the scariest haunts for an individual to experience.
It is reported that a poltergeist
haunt typically revolves around one certain individual. Most of the time that
any paranormal activity occurs that one person must be present. If not then the
activity seems to cease.
These spirits seem very angry
and more times than not there are several spirits that feed off of each others energy to move large objects and cause more
havoc for the affected person.
