This photo was taken on our first investigation
while at the Knickerbocker on 3-15-08.
All investigators were very excited over
the photo after all attempts to recreate the photo failed.
Scott took quite a few photos after capturing
this mass with different items over the flash at different angles to try to get this same mass to appear without luck. We then took the photo to the owner and showed her and she was very excited over the
photo stating that this would explain the uneasy feeling in this room that she had dubbed the “choking room”.
We placed the photo on our website, not
saying that it was paranormal, yet more of an unexplained shadow.
On or last visit to the Knickerbocker 5-10-08
investigators tried again to recreate the photo and this time it we were able to do it, only once.
It happened when the investigator was standing
in about the same area in his “photo taking pose” and another investigator walked behind him with a flashlight
and he saw his silhouette on the wall including his arm with the camera.
Immediately he took photos and was not
able to catch anything until about the 20th photo.
In most cases the flash from the camera
washed out the shadow on the wall during the photo. That is all except one that
we were able to capture.
So, even though we were only able to capture
the mass once on the attempted recreation, we did capture it so have to rule it out as anything other than the shadow of the
photographer.
