The “Latonia Ghost”, a photo that
made our jaws drop when we first saw it.
It was taken while in the “green room”
of the Latonia during our 8-23-08 investigation.
I placed this photo up as a side by side comparison. The left photo being edited only to trace
the outline of the figure and the right photo untouched by any editing software other than to place the © on the photo.
Do you see it?
It appears to be a full apparition standing right there.
At first glance most of the investigators saw
a younger male standing there with his head turned to the left. It also appears
that this figure is wearing some type of costume and has his left arm up across his chest.
This photo what we thought, was the apparition
of a male actor at the theater. The clothing represents what we believe to be
some type of costume that is similar to an actor that would be dressed for a play written by Shakespeare.
We then started to analyze the photo.
It only took minutes for us to realize what we
were looking at.
The photo was taken over the shoulder by one of
the investigators. The bright white board at the lower portion of the photo is
actually a door jam so the photo is sideways.
The components of the appropriation as follows.
Head – Crash bar on an exit door, if you
look you can see the pipe and the mounting that the pipe fits in to.
Torso – there is a large pillar in the room. The torso effect was made due to flaking paint off of the pillar
Legs – there was a cart in the room that
was stacked with random items. These items just happen to fit where legs would be on an apparition.
Our investigation team is very proud of this photo. We feel this shows just how far we are willing to go to be sure that we don’t
post false evidence.
